**1) SPSS syntax files (.sps)** ---------- There are two SPSS syntax files for each study. - A file outlining the analyses that were reported in the manuscript and the Online Supplemental materials, in that order, tagged "_analyses". - Please note that these include the analyses in the order that they are presented in the paper, and are annotated with matching section titles within the manuscript. - This file should be used in conjuction with the SPSS data files tagged "_forAnalyses". - A file outlining how final scale scores were computed, tagged "computingScaleScores". - This file should be used in conjunction with the SPSS data files tagged "_forComputingScaleScores". ---------- **2) Mplus analysis scripts (.inp)** ---------- Hypothesis testing analyses for Study 2 were conducted using Mplus. The relevant .csv data file must be saved in the same folder as these analysis scripts. - There are 7 analysis scripts for those analyses reported in the main manuscript. - These are tagged "Study2_1_..." through "Study2_7_..." to indicate the order in which they appear in the manuscript. - There are 3 analysis scripts for those analyses reported in the Online Supplementary Materials. - These are tagged "Study2_S1_..." through "Study2_S3_..." to indicate the order in which they appear in the supplemental materials.
