Description: The Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence, experts in the field of Social and Emotional Learning (SEL), are funded to partner with EdTogether, experts in the field of Universal Design for Learning (UDL), to rigorously evaluate The RULER Approach to SEL under the UDL lens to promote access and benefits for students with learning differences. Research process and findings will be shared with the SEL and disability communities broadly for use as an exemplar model of systematic accessibility review. Results will directly inform and impact RULER offerings and provide the foundation for an empirical investigation of the efficacy of RULER for students with learning differences in the next phase of work.
