Wiki Version:
The goal of data analysis is to establish the association between stopping social media use and study outcomes. Analysis will identify the period of time of abstinence from social media that will show changes in loneliness & quality of day. The between subjects analysis will involve daily comparisons between those on and off of social media on outcomes for all participants using multi-level modeling to account for non-independence of samples. The within subjects comparisons will track within individual changes in study outcomes for days on and off of social media for participants in groups off for 7, 14, and 21 days, using multi-level modeling to account for non-independence of samples.
