**Schematic information, memory and generalisation** The present set of studies investigated how the presence of schematic information influences behaviour for schema-irrelevant items. A precision long-term memory paradigm was implemented to look at both memory and generalisation behaviour. Participants were tasked with learning word-location associations around the circle. Words belonged to one of two semantic categories: human-made and natural. One of these groups of words would be associated with a pattern of distributed locations, whilst the other was not. We found that the presence of a pattern in one condition influenced behaviour in the other, despite the information of the other condition being "irrelevant". The present OSF page provides you with all of the pre-registrations, data and analyses scripts for all four experiments and the secondary data analysis. **The Folders** There are three main folders within the OSF page: 1. **Experimental Data, Scripts and Registrations** – This contains the data, materials and scripts for the entirety of the paper. 2. **Experiment Scripts** - This folder will contain the scripts used to collect the data for both the in-person (face-to-face) and online versions of the experiments. **[Coming soon]**. 3. **Other** – This contains documents from conference presentations and is presented to show other ways we have analysed the data previously.
