On each experimental day participants will answer the Berkley Expressivity Questionnaire (BEQ) (first session only), demographics (first session only), vasoactive substance and current mood questionnaires. They will then have the psychophysiological equipment attached to them. Each session will include a 5 minute control condition baseline (documentary video) followed by one of their chosen sad films. They will watch their selected sad scene lasting approximately 10-20 minutes depending on the film chosen. During one movie/session they will be given no instruction other than to watch the film which we expect to induce crying (crying condition). The second movie/session they will be instructed to not cry (suppression condition). Each session should take no more than one hour. After each video participants will indicate their current mood/emotion via a short questionnaire. After completing the second session participants will then answer a qualitative questionnaire on sadness and emotional suppression.
