Please download all files to a single folder. Knitting the *datnico_analysis_osf.Rmd* script will generate a MS Word document reproducing the results section and supplementary tables of the "The Role of the *SLC6A3* 3' UTR VNTR in Nicotine Effects on Cognitive, Affective and Motor Function" manuscript. The study data is stored in *datnico_data_osf.rda*. The .R files are R functions needed for analysis. For the *datnico_analysis_osf.Rmd* script to run smoothly, please make sure the R *pacman* package is installed and all files from the OSF project are downloaded and stored in the same folder. Please customize line 36 of the script to the path to this folder. The *process.R* script needs to be downloaded from <https://www.processmacro.org> and stored in the same folder as all other files. Detailed description of the variables in *datnico_data_osf.rda* can be found in the *variables.csv* document. The .jasp files contain data, analyses and results of the Bayesian analyses reported in the paper for each task. Have fun exploring the data set and analyses!
