Our panel discussion will be on Friday, 3 June, from 11:30 AM to 12:15 PM. Here is the general program and here is our specific session. I want to give each of you as much time as possible while also structuring the session to be as interactive as possible. Therefore, I think the following schedule is reasonable, but am of course open to changes: - 0-5 min: Intro (David) - 5-15 min: Helen Atkins on how PLOS is implementing transparency standards - 15-25 min: Eric on Psych Science issuing badges and other initiatives - 25-35 min: Andy on eLife's process for accepting and reviewing Registered Reports - 35-45 min: open to audience Q&A I want to give each of you as much flexibility as possible. I have a slide deck [here][1] that you are free to add slides to. However, if you prefer to have no slides, that is fine, and encouraged! Also, feel free to simply make your own and I can make sure we get them all together before we present. I recommend that your presentation aim to answer the following set of questions. Feel free to focus your discussion from another point of view if you prefer. 1. What perceived barriers did your journal/organization face before implementing any transparency standards or initiatives? 2. Once implemented, how much of an issue did those barriers actually present? 3. Once implemented, what unexpected benefits did you see? 4. Once implemented, what unexpected challenges arose? 5.
