Wiki Version:
This OSF project contains a collection of materials for a study from my PhD on attentional bias in daily and non-daily smokers. I have organised the materials into different components. I will explain the role of each component here, then the Wiki for each component provides further information. ## Analyses For my PhD thesis, I created reproducible results sections and shared code here. This no longer has much use, but I've retained them to avoid breaking a link. There are two files for the analyses. The first file is an R Markdown file that creates a reproducible version of the thesis method and results section (although the data is not provided here). The second file is the resulting method and results after the R Markdown file has been knitted. This takes the data and creates the statistics and figures in the thesis. ## Pre-registration protocol This component contains the pre-registration protocol that outlines the hypotheses, sampling plan, and planned analyses. This was created as an R Markdown file to make the calculations reproducible. The power analysis and planned analyses are based on simulated data that can be reproduced. ## Manuscript I edited this study into a manuscript which was accepted at the Journal of Trial and Error. This component contains all the files needed for a reproducible manuscript I created using R Markdown and papaja. All the code and data are provided here. ## Materials For the PhD chapter and subsequent manuscript, I shared a file with a list of all the images I used from the International Affective Picture System (IAPS). This documents include the name of the image and their original ratings for valence and arousal.
