Wiki Version:
This component provides with the necessary files for preprocessing the pupillary signal and for rerunning the analyses. The pdf explains the sequence of steps necessary for the process. **Preprossing:** In principle, Blinkfilter.py allows for allocating messages with blinkfiltered pupil sizes. downsampleto50Hz.py makes the files smaller for making following analyses easier to perform. **Data Aggregation and Analyses** AnalyzeAndAggregateData.xlsm contains makros for iterating through downsampled files. Formulas allow to retrieve every single trial per participant, but also average curves for conditions within participants. The AggregatePupilSizes Makro allows to aggregate average curves for all conditions for all participants. These data may in turn be pasted into AggregatedData.xlsx for retrieving the grand average pupil dynamics given in the manuscript. **Further Data** AnalyzeAndAggregateData.xlsm also allows to aggregate data for the models. Files are currently set to variable names from Experiment 2. For the excel files, this means that some formulas need to be adjusted for differential variable names for Experiment 1.
