# Mapping Spatial Frequency Preferences Across Human Primary Visual Cortex This OSF page hosts some miscellaneous files related to the paper "Mapping Spatial Frequency Preferences Across Human Primary Visual Cortex", Broderick, Simoncelli, and Winawer, 2021. See the [README](https://github.com/billbrod/spatial-frequency-preferences) of the associated Github repo for more details on how to use the files here, but here's a brief description of the contents of this page: - Github component: link to the Github repo associated with this paper - VSS 2018: link to a separate OSF page which contains the Github repo for the VSS 2018 poster for this project. - Spatial calibration: link to a separate OSF page which contains files associated with the calculation of the projector's Modulation Transfer Function (MTF), which was part of this paper. - OSF Storage: - `mriqc_reports.tar.gz`: tarball containing the outputs of MRIQC for the data used in the paper. To extract, download and run `tar xf mriqc_reports.tar.gz` - `sfp-experiment-example-run.mp4`: video of a single run of the experiment. NOTE: this contains black and white gratings flashing at a rate of 2Hz. - `sfp_fully_processed_data.tar.gz`: tarball containing the files necessary to recreate the paper's figures (see Github README for more details). - `sfp_supplemental_data.tar.gz`: tarball containing extra files necessary to create figures in the appendix (see Github README for more details). This is separate from `sfp_fully_processed_data.tar.gz` because it's so much larger. - `task-sfprescaled_stimuli.npy`: numpy array of stimuli, as presented in the experiment. Array has dtype `int8` (8-bit integers) and shape `(464,1080,1080)`. These stimuli have had the anti-aliasing mask applied and have been rescaled to account for the MTF of the projector used in the experiment.
