Wiki Version:
This repository contains supplementary material for "Generating Seizure-Inducing Sequences with Interactive Visualizations", an IEEE VIS 2020 poster. In this poster, we present three case studies of interactive visualizations that were created without malicious intent but can nevertheless be used to produce potentially seizure-inducing flashes and patterns through interaction alone. The folder titled `photosensitive-risk-reports/` contains risk analysis reports for each case study from the [Photosensitive Epilepsy Analysis Tool][1] (PEAT). Screen recordings from each case study can be found in the remaining two folders (`safe-screen-recordings/` and `dangerous-screen-recordings/`). Please do not view the videos in `dangerous-screen-recordings/` if you have any form of photosensitivity. Instead, consider viewing the edited versions with lower contrast and brightness in `safe-screen-recordings/`. [1]: https://trace.umd.edu/peat
