this project contains three files: the code, data and analysis scripts for the publication titled "Statistical Learning in the Absence of Explicit Top-Down Attention." The code is written in two languages, Experiments 1 and 2 are in python and 3 & 4 are in Open Sesame. Open Sesame can be downloaded here (https://osdoc.cogsci.nl/). The data is in CSV format. The Analysis scripts utilize the program tableau. This can be downloaded for free by students here (https://www.tableau.com/academic/students). The scripts do not include the final statistical analyses, they only prepare the data for analysis. The final analysis will need a program like SPSS. We chose to use JASP which can be found here (https://jasp-stats.org/). several readme's are provided for further guidance
