Data_ReplicationMitchell file contain all data outputted by the experimental software. Data.sav contain Data_replicationMitchell in SPSS format, including recoded dv's for correct answers. Prepare Data.sps (SPSS syntax file, can also be opened by text editor) contains calculations performed upon the raw data. DataFinal.sav contains data after script in Prepare Data.sps is run on Data.sav. Contains additional column identifying re-run participants DataFinal_FinalSample.sav contains 48 participants (excluding re-run participants), which is the basis for the reported data. Main Results.spv and Main Results.pdf contain the results of the analysis, including the syntax codes or the performed analyses. The graph contains an excel file used to plot the data, mirroring the original table in Mitchell et al (2008).
