Wiki Version:
This repository contains the data for Barchet, A. V., Henry, M. J., Pelofi, C., & Rimmele, J. M. - Auditory-Motor Synchronization and Perception suggest partially distinct time scales in speech and music. The 'data' folder contains the behavioral responses in the perception task as well as the questionnaire responses. The baseline corrected PLVs are provided under 'data' in 'plvs_corrected.csv'. The folder additionally contains the raw and uncorrected PLVs and the shuffled PLVs. Finally, the characteristics of the acoustic and motor envelopes required for the analyses are provided. Additionally, the auditory and motor envelopes are provided in the folder envelopes. Raw audio recordings cannot be provided for data protection reasons. The 'code' folder contains the analysis scripts used for calculating the envelopes, as well as analyzing the PLVs between auditory and motor signals. Additionally, we provide the codes for the envelope control characteristics. The subdirectory 'statistical_analysis' contains the R-Scripts used for conducting the statistical analyses on the synchronization and the perception task.
