This project focuses on predictors of adherence to preventive guidelines and use of pseudoscientific practices during the COVID-19 pandemic. It is a pilot project to a larger proposal entitled Irrational mindsed as a bridge from psychological dispositions to questionable health behaviors prepared for the call IDEJE (Serbian Science Fund).
We investigate the role of personality, thinking styles, cognitive biases and conspiracy mentality in health-related behaviors during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Basic personality space was defined by the HEXACO model complemented by Disintegration (Knežević et al., 2017), which represents a disposition to psychotic-like experiences and behaviors.
