Wiki Version:
**Duration:** 01.07.2021 to 30.06.2024 **Project partners:** University of Cologne (Lead), University of Graz and University of Teacher Education in Special Needs (HfH) Zurich **Funded by:** Marga and Walter Boll foundation **Target group:** first graders (resp. second graders) with dyslexia **Project schedule:** Phase 1: In a first step, we identify challenging situations for children with dyslexia via literature research and an interview study. Afterwards, we develop the concept of the training which will provide opportunities to support dyslexic children in their social-emotional development especially in these situations. Phase 2: At a next step, the screening (n = 1200 first graders) of reading as well as social-emotional skills takes place. Based on the results the groups for the intervention are formed. The intervention (n children with dyslexia = 90; n children without dyslexia = 30) will be implemented and evaluated (pretest, posttest, follow-up) in a longitudinal study in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Phase 3: Finally, the dissemination of the results for practice and research takes place. **Literature:** Hillenbrand, C., Hennemann, T., Hens, S., & Hövel, D. (2022). *„Lubo aus dem All“ – 1. und 2. Klasse: Programm zur Förderung sozial-emotionaler Kompetenzen* (5. Aufl.). Ernst Reinhardt Verlag München.
