Wiki Version:
This is an early release of a work-in-progress. This site will be for sharing data, whereas code should be developed and shared at https://github.com/HippAI/hippomaps. The goal of this repo is to host intermediate processed data that is readily comparable between studies. That is, specifically, we are interested in data that has already been mapped to a standardized hippocampal surface in GIfTI format, for example, using [HippUnfold][1]. This is ideal since it already includes registration to a standardized space, and is directly amenable to comparison using, for example, spatial correlation. Though it is advisable to share unprocessed data, this can take a lot of space and even with good standardization this makes it difficult to find comparable data types. Thus, we aim to provide precise vertex-wise maps of hippocampal features, while also keeping the repo lightweight and navigable. Each published or preprinted work should have its own folder, include README files that fully describe the data, and can optionally include multiple subfolders for different data types or sources within the same study. All data should also include detailed, BIDS-like naming and formatting as in the example provided by the initialization data here. Please cite [HippoMaps][1] for use of this repo AND any studies relevant to the data you access.
