To compile and install nest (see INSTALL): - Fork/clone the repository - Within the folder where nest-simulator is, create 2 new directories: one to install nest in (not necessary, but recommended) - `/nest-install/` and one to compile `/nest-build/` - Enter the nest-build folder to compile - Compile (requires cmake v3.4 or higher) and set the install directory to the folder you just created: - `cmake -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX:PATH=../nest-install/ ../nest-simulator/ -Dwith-mpi=ON`
