The College Student Subjective Wellbeing Questionnaire (CSSWQ) is a 16-item self-report \rating scale for measuring young adults' college-specific wellbeing. The CSSWQ is comprised of four subscales: (1) Academic Satisfaction, (2) Academic Efficacy, (3) School Connectedness, and (4) College Gratitude. Subscale scores can be used as standalone wellbeing indicators or summed to create a Overall College Student Subjective Wellbeing composite scale.
The CSSWQ is intended to be used for practical purposes as an outcome measure and screening instrument. Preliminary evidence suggests that responses to the measure may be valid for such purposes. Yet further research is needed to extend and generalize the validity evidence supporting the measure's technical adequacy, usability, and treatment validity in school-based practice.
