Wiki Version:
This workshop was created in June 2018 for teaching the basics of the open source project management and collaboration platform, Open Science Framework (OSF), with hands-on examples. It includes several short exercises in the one hour session that allowed attendees to try using several aspects of the core functionality of OSF such as creating projects, adding files, syncing third-party apps, and adding contributors. It would be suitable for any audience that is new to the OSF platform. The files include [the email communication with prep instructions][1] that was sent out prior to the workshop, [intro slides][2] for the workshop, [a workshop handout][3], [a Quick Start guide][4] that users can refer back to when working with OSF, [a detailed exercise handout][5], and [our lesson plan][6].
