**Analytic Plan** Planned analyses are as follows: Three 2 (upward comparison, downward comparison) x 3 (internet, friends, pornography) ANOVAs will be run to examine whether there are any differences between conditions on sexual satisfaction, sexual pleasure, or quality of alternatives. In addition, we will explore whether self-esteem is a moderator of these effects, as previous research has demonstrated that self-esteem is associated with the effects of social comparisons (e.g. Aspinwall & Taylor, 1993).
