Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) Lab at CUBRIC, Cardiff University, UK
One fully equipped TMS lab at [CUBRIC][1] is available for research use.
Available equipment includes:
- Magstim Super Rapid2, BiStim2 and/or 2002 with range of coils.
- Brainsight Neuronavigation and MEP
- Stimulus PCs
- etc
For this initial call, the lab is available for one data collection period only, however, further collaboration and new intakes are possible in future. Preference will be given to researchers with experience using TMS and open science practices; pre-registered studies and [Registered Reports][2] will be given particular preference. It is expected that all study materials and anonymised data be made openly available and research outputs be open access. An [exchange agreement][3] will be completed and agreed upon by all researchers prior to data collection.
What we can provide:
- Use of one TMS lab and equipment for research purposes only.
- Technical support with equipment and open science practices.
- Potentially, access to other CUBRIC facilities, including 3T/7T/Connectom MRI, MEG, EEG, cognitive and clinical labs (costs will apply). Click [here][4] for more info.
What we can't provide:
- First aid training (required)
- Funds to cover any additional scanning, participant payment or consumables.
