# README This page gathers all experimental materials for experiments on choropleth maps and contains the supplementary materials, preregistrations, and scripts of several experiments and publications that are listed below: - *Blinded for review* **An Evaluation of Visualization Methods for Population Statistics Based on Choropleth Maps**, - *Blinded for review* **Popcharts: Fine-Scaled Population Statistics Based on Choropleth Maps** ## Authors and licenses All material by *Blinded for review* [CC BY 4.0](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/). ## OSF Storage Content Directory | Content ------------ | ------------- ``Experiment1 Planned Analysis Scripts/`` | All the scripts used for the frozen pre-registered analysis of the evaluation conducted in "Evaluation of Visualization Methods for Population Statistics Based on Choropleth Maps". ``Experiment2 Planned Analysis Scripts/`` | All the scripts used for the frozen pre-registered analysis of the evaluation conducted in "Popcharts: Fine-Scaled Population Statistics Based on Choropleth Maps". ``Final Data And Scripts/``| The version of the scripts that we have used to produce the data analysis in submissions. See "Modifications to the data analysis scripts". ## Modifications to the data analysis scripts The scripts we have used to produce the data analysis in the paper follow our pre-registrations. In the pre-registrations, we stated that slight modifications to the R scripts could be done in order to modify the presentation of the results (adjusting figure size, changing the name of the condition to fit the text of the submission,...). The planned analysis was left untouched. ## Experiment The two experiments we conducted are available *Blinded for review* [1]: http://vernier.frederic.free.fr/Infovis/popchart/
