Extract of lab notebook records: <h2>TRIP analysis of escaper and repressed promoters.</h2> <b>Marloes van der Zwalm, van Steensel lab, 2017-2018</b> <br> This document summarizes the experiments that were part of the TRIP study described in Leemans et al: "Promoter-intrinsic and local chromatin features determine gene repression in LADs", Cell 2019. This is a digest of the relevant lab notebook entries that were recorded during these experiments. It provides many experimental details that could not be easily summarized in the Methods section of the paper. It also includes some experimental data that we decided not to include in the paper, either because the data were of lesser importance, or because we felt that the results were not reliable. We provide this document as part of our ongoing efforts to further increase the transparency of our research ([van Steensel, EMBO Reports 2018; 19(10). pii: e46866][1]).
