NICE: CONNECT is a network of researchers open to collaboration. Essentially, CONNECT is a platform where researchers can post research participation opportunities, or needs they have. The NICE: CONNECT component thus serves to engage contributors in site to site research collaborations and connections. This component uses [StudySwap][1]. StudySwap is a platform for interlab replication, collaboration, and research resource exchange. As stated by StudySwap, this web-based application provides a space where researchers can conduct pre-publication replication attempts, increase the size of their participant pools, increase efficiency, and access hard to recruit samples or gain access to laboratory equipment. ***NICE collaborators are encouraged to post on StudySwap using NICE in their title in order to create a diverse network of researchers with different samples, and resources.*** Further, through postings researchers can build useful research networks by collaboratively exchanging their “haves” and “needs.” Researchers can build meaningful relationships, where resources can be shared. Additionally, NICE offers CONNECT collaborators a multitude of resources such as a dictionary of open source measures/materials and a cross-cultural research FAQ page.
