Wiki Version:
**Sample EEG dataset and looking times data for NEAR (Newborn EEG Artifact Removal)** The **sample EEG dataset** consists of the newborn EEG data recorded for the work published as: [Buiatti M. et al. "Cortical route for facelike pattern processing in human newborns." Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences 116.10 (2019): 4625-4630][1]. Please refer to the original article for the description of how data were collected. EEG datasets are in EEGLAB format. The reference electrode is at the vertex (Cz). Events are coded as follows: DIN=Onset of cycle of visual presentation (upright, inverted or scrambled facelike pattern). DI50=Onset of visual attractor (a spiral dynamically converging to the center of the screen). The **Looking Times** dataset consists of looking time intervals (in ms) for all the subjects.
