Wiki Version:
This component contains the materials necessary to complete our a priori power analysis. The power analysis was completed using resources provided by the Center for High Throughput Computing (http://chtc.cs.wisc.edu/). Each zip file contains the materials to complete one power analysis: the "power_analysis_half.zip" conducts the analysis of power to detect a gap of half the distance between our high and moderate quality proposals, "power_analysis_quarter.zip" conducts the analysis of power to detect a gap of a quarter the distance. To conduct a power analysis, the user must log into a CHTC submit node. The file with the .sub extension submits a series of jobs with simulation parameters dictated by the "input" files using a pre-compiled build of R. The results are sent back to the submit node in the form of a .csv file. You can find the aggregated results of each power analysis in the files called "power_analysis_half_res.csv" and "power_analysis_quarter_res.csv".
