Description: This document serves as an introduction to the potential enabling factors for Early Childhood Development (ECD). Information was collected from the research literature targeting early childhood education. Given the wide scope of ECD interventions, we focused primarily on psychosocial factors. Enabling factors represent any known preconditions or requirements for ECD intervention. In this document, at first, the role of key stakeholders (children, peers, siblings, parents, teachers, neighbours, etc.) is demonstrated, followed by describing the necessity of communication between them, potentially leading to the coordination or cooperation of the local stakeholders. The following literature overview does not apply rigorous methodology. The literature overview is based on a pragmatic and selective search of available research and grey literature.
