Wiki Version:
This repository contains the data and code required to reproduce the results of "Pre-Registered Interim Analysis Designs (PRIADs): Increasing the Cost-Effectiveness of Hypothesis Testing". * Figures/: This folder contains all the figures of the paper. * PRIApp/: This folder contains the code of the PRIApp, as well as the user manual. * JCR_Papers.zip/: This archive contains the data and code of the JCR studies we are reproducing, along with a list of all papers and studies (PaperList.xlsx). Unzip this file prior to running the analysis. * Reproducing_JCR_Results.R: The script required to re-analyze all the JCR studies. It is computationally intensive: Running the 1,000 loops takes approximately 10 hours on a 16-core computer. * JCR_Results_Reproduced_N1000_20240409.csv: The output of this script, as run on 2024/04/09. * Figure*.R: The codes required to generate the Figures 2 through 5, and their underlying analysis. * WebAppendix_EffectSizesGeneration.R: The code required to simulated the effect sizes used in the Web Appendix. Takes a long time to run as well. * WebAppendix_SimulatedExperiments.csv: The output of this script. * WebAppendix_EffectSizesComparison.qmd: The Quarto document used to generate the Web Appendix. * WebAppendix.docx: The Web Appendix itself, edited for publication.
