# Exploring this example structure This example project was made by copying the template from the [main lab project](https://osf.io/n7263/). For demonstration purposes all components of this project have been made public so that you can see some of the different contributor settings. ## Contributor settings Our PI for this experiment is Ian Sullivan who is an Administrator on all components and is the only one with access to the Manuscript. The second main contributor is Jennifer Freeman Smith who has Read+Write on all the components other than the Manuscript component. Brandon Thorpe is doing a lot of the data management but would not normally get authorial credit on any paper coming out of the experiment. As such he has Read+Write access to the Data component, where he is marked as a non-bibliographic contributor, and has no access to any other portions of the experiment. Following the suggested lab instructions on the [main lab's wiki](https://osf.io/n7263/wiki/home/), we've added Courtney Soderberg, who is one of the lab administrators that is otherwise unaffiliated with this experiment, as a non-bibliographic Administrator to the project. ## Project linking We have added a link to this project in the "[Research](https://osf.io/67gq5/)" portion of the main lab project page. Even though these are separate projects on the OSF, because we have linked them together, anyone looking at the main lab page will be able to see our project along with any future experiments at the lab. ***Note** that linking your project does not affect the public/private settings of your project. People viewing the main lab page will only be able to see the link to your project if they otherwise had access to see your project, either because they have been added as contributors to the project or because that project was changed to public.*
