The eight animal names to be learned were anole, ayeaye,caiman, dugong, iiwi, jennet, kyloe and saki. The .wav sound files and .bmp picture files for each are available here. The eight meaningless sounds and patterns are also available as .bmp and .wav files. NB we started with more stimuli, but used eight after pilot testing revealed that longer lists were too hard. I think this means that only items 0 to 7 were used. For the meaningless .wav files, each was played five times for a single trial presentation.
