Description: This dataset provided insights into the KAP towards COVID-19 among College of Health science students in a Ghanaian population. The data was collected based on a survey to understand putative factors influencing knowledge, attitude and practices of health science undergraduate students towards COVID-19, ahead of re-opening of Universities in Ghana from May 1, 2020, to May 30, 2020. The data included 606 Health Science Students (age range: 15-30 years) from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana. The platform for data collection was a self-reported questionnaire designed using Google Forms and a link shared via class media platforms. In total, 29 questions were answered which took an average time range between 10-15 minutes. The data covers socio-demographic information; awareness, knowledge and sources of knowledge of COVID-19; perceived confidence towards COVID-19 infection and willingness to adhere to preventive protocols; and cues to adherence, preventive practices, and tolerance towards COVID-19 infection.
