Wiki Version:
This archive contains single-unit recordings and eye-tracking data during human face perception. We provide the experiment materials and also sample code to analyze the data. All data is stored in MATLAB files and processed with MATLAB (matlab2020b). Please find the readMe.txt file for records of variables. The directories are listed as follows: /Code/ : codes for extracting firing rate and fixation number statistics. /Code/tools/ : Functions that help to plot and computations for common analysis. /Data/ : eye tracking data (in /Data/ET/), behavior data (in /Data/Behavior/), spikes (in /Data/Spikes/) are stored seperately in specific directories. For usage, please read the readMe.txt file under each directory. /Event Files/: event file for each recorded session, which is common for both eye tracking data and single neuron data. /Stimuli/ : Face stimuli that used in the current study. Please let us know if you have any questions. Pleas cite the following publication if you use the data. Cao R, Li X, Brandmeir NJ, Wang S. Encoding of facial features by single neurons in the human amygdala and hippocampus. Commun Biol 4, 1394 (2021) https://doi.org/10.1038/s42003-021-02917-1
