The data analyses and the codes for the article "How Infants' Utterances Grow: A Probabilistic Account" that has been accepted by *Cognition* in August, 2022. For child utterance length analyses, please go to Study1 For implementing VIRTUAL, please go to the main study folder under Study 2. Jupyter notebook was used for data processing and modeling. R was used for statistical analyses. All the codes have been included in the html files. The uploaded csv, txt, or png files are necessary for implementing the codes. Child speech data used in this project are publicly available via TalkBank and can be accessed at http://childes.talkbank.org/.
