Wiki Version:
## Overview of the Analysis Files ## This component contains R input files and data files in CSV format. Simply drop the R and CSV files into the same folder and run the files as usual. The R files have headings and comments, and they will create all analyses and plots presented in the article. R users should find the R code relatively self-explanatory. The R files are numbered according the order in the article. - "00 IRT Plots..." creates the IRT plot in the article's Introduction - "01 Study 1..." contains the main psychometric analyses related to dimensionality, item response modeling, and differential item functioning - "02 Study 1..." contains the descriptive statistics for the final scale and the analyses involving gender, age, and art engagement - "03 Study 2..." contains the findings from Study 2, the validity study involving the Big 5 and AREA scales - "04 Study 3..." contains all analyses for Study 3, which developed the 10-item short form As noted on the main Wiki, the data posted on this archive are "donated" to the academic community. You are welcome to use the data for non-commercial purposes, including reanalyzing and reusing the data for new publications of your own. (We would appreciate copies of any publications that result from these data files.)
