Description: This project containts the report "Final investigation on serious allegations of fabricated and/or falsified data in Al-Sheikhly et al. (2013, 2015) - 1 July 2016". This report was published on 1 July 2016. It is since that day in the possession of all stakeholders. The report confirms the serious allegations that Al-Sheikhly et al. (2013, 2015) contains fabricated and/or falsified data. The report reveals that there were no experts who endorse the views of the first and the last author that their study is based on solid scientific data. The report also reveals that no university in Saudi Arabia had endorsed this study. Until now no one has been able to rebut / refute any of the conclusions of this report. Herculean efforts to get reviews / comments from experts (within this field of research) who rebut / refute any of the findings of this report were unsuccessful. There are thus no experts (within this field of research) who rebut / refute any of the findings / conclusions of this report. The serious allegations were also noted by the Iraqi Ministry of Environment. This Ministry initiated an extensive inquiry about the credibility of Al-Sheikhly et al. (2013, 2015). This inquiry was conducted by experts of the Natural History Research Centre and Museum (NHCM) / Baghdad University. A report with the findings was published on 12 April 2016. This report is since the end of 2016 in the possession of TF. A PDF of this report (NHCM 2016. [Basra Reed-warbler report of the Natural History Research Center and Museum / Baghdad University]. Report, NHCM, Baghdad (in Arab).) was added to this project on 31 October 2018.
