Wiki Version:
This project decided to create a survey that would be sent across areas of psychology, using a comprehensive list of professional psychology associations, to ask what people's concerns about adopting open science practices are. Google doc notes: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1yjbEKVEtYx1jnM4z5pwdlkkc1aQl8dDuIICh2K1Pem0/edit?usp=sharing This project was closely related to one run by Kathryn Mary Kroeper, who had ultimately wanted to conduct a survey with personal narratives as an experimental intervention to change attitudes towards open science. This project would also fit nicely with the following project: Facts & fictions - Alexandra Sarafoglou, Laura Scherer, Hannah Moshontz The facts and fictions project has been creating information about the use of open science practices, and so SIPS may have material that can provide effective responses to objections to the survey. These could be merged into a manuscript with Concerns / Responses for Open Science practices.
