Wiki Version:
Music listening is increasingly being recognised as an adjuvant treatment for pain management. Music can help to decrease the experience of both chronic and experimental pain. This study examines the role of cognitive agency, and identifies that the act of making a choice over music can contribute to the analgesic benefits of music engagement. The protocol registration for this study can be found under 'registrations' and the main dataset for the final analysis can be found under 'files'.
