The purpose of this study is to now test the effect of different timings between seeing the bank robbery and the verbalizing task on recall. Participants will be randomly assigned with the following probabilities to the following 3 conditions: 5-10-15-20 minute survey: 73% 1 minute E/C task: 18% Sham: 9% In order to power out to N = 1096 per condition, this will require us to collect a total of 6,028. We will drop the demographic sampling requirements, and ask Dynata if they can restrict who takes the study to only those who are taking it on a desktop.
