Wiki Version:
## Contents of this directory ## This directory contains the stimuli and software used to execute our first try at replicating and extending Elsley and Parmentier. A sample of participants was collected at the University of Edinburgh Department of Psychology in 2016-2017 and additional participants were added from the Cardiff University School of Psychology in 2017-2018. ---------- **Editable E-Prime files:** *Dissertation.Rep.es2* and *Dissertation.Rep.Swap.es2* are the editable E-Studio files that delivered the stimuli and collected responses. The "Swap" version is the same, except that it swaps the mapping of the buttons used on the PST button box to the two possible responses. ---------- **Runnable E-Prime scripts:** *Dissertation.Rep.ebs2* and *Dissertation.Rep.Swap.ebs2* are the E-basic scripts used to collect the data. ---------- **Files called by the program:** *visStatic.jpg* is a noisy image used to mask the stimuli. *Letter.wav* and *Location.wav* are the auditory files corresponding to the cue given to participants per trial. *circle.bmp* is the image loaded to display circles onscreen.
