Code: There is one file for analyses, written in R, called 'Trientalis analyses'. Data files: The file 'starflower occurrences midwest herbaria points.csv' contains the points used to make the distribution map (Fig 1). Data were downloaded from the Consortium of Midwest Herbaria on 20 Sept. 2021 (https://midwestherbaria.org/portal/). The other files are all used in the R script for analyses of the effects of temperature and precipitation on flowering date. There is a separate file for flowering and fecundity observations used in figure 5. The file 'May mean temp.csv' is used for figure 3.
