This project aims to compare the habituation and inhibition theories of exposure in cognitive behavioral therapy. These theoretical perspectives make different predictions as to important behavior change principles underlying exposure therapy. Coding whether these principles are present in therapy evaluations can perhaps suggest which mechanism is more plausible.
