The results did not show any significance between any of the four variables (Safety, Express, Openness, Express), when compared to Self-Esteem. Included here is the raw data, with no personal information attached ("**Anonymized Facebook Data.cvs**"). This file also has the means incorporated into it and it is explained inside the file. There is another file called "Data Prepared with Means." This is the file we used to run the data analysis. Attached are four syntax for each variable in the data set. In the data set file, there are 90 participants with their responses to each of the categories. Each category is exactly the same as the original study. They are based off the Rosenburg Self-Esteem Scale and the Facebook survey created in the original study. These can both be found in our "methods and materials" section. Also, there were five participants who were excluded from the survey because they did not have a Facebook account. Their responses were recorded at the bottom as excluded. Consent: 1 = Agreed to consent form RSS_1 - RSS_10 = **Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale** F1_1 - F1_3 = **Opportunity to express** (Measures the participants willingness to express themselves on social media.) F2_1 - F2_3 = **Opportunity to connect** (Measures how much the participant wants to connect with others and how much they want to involve themselves in other people's lives.) F3_1 - F3_9 = **Perceived safety** (Measures how the participant views posting information on social media. They can rate the level of security they feel when they post or share information.) F4_1 - F4_10 = **Perceived benefits over in-person disclosure** (Measures the perceived benefits from using social media and how it can improve their lives.) Gender: 1 = Male 2 = Female **Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale**: A 10-item scale that measures global self-worth by measuring both positive and negative feelings about the self. The scale is believed to be uni-dimensional. All items are answered using a 4-point Likert scale format ranging from strongly agree to strongly disagree. Rosenberg, M. (1965).
