# Complementary Methods/Protocols --- Many URE studies make use of mixed-methods approaches. This section references publications or other forms of dissemination that describe other methods that were used in any larger study of which the current method was a part. * Were there particular aspects of URE in this research effort that were examined using other methods? * What was the purpose for using particular methods in terms of: * Questions asked * Insights about URE obtained * Are there other methods you would recommend or be interested in exploring to better understand URE in this research context? #### **Complementary Studies** Authors can include references to other publications from the same study that used complementary methods to address the research question. #### **Related Protocols** * Survey Instrument Protocol * Parallel protocols * Forked protocols * Protocol from which this one was forked
