Wiki Version:
-Each week I am going to Point Defiance Zoo during my early dismissal and working on my artistic skills. --Purpose Expand my skills at observational drawing with different species of animals, and practice different art forms, such as painting, in the process. --Goals and Objectives Gain an understanding of animal anatomy in many different species. Understand how these animals interact with their environment, draw them in their exhibit and not abstractly. Learn how to accurately draw landscapes with moving components Develop skills to be able to draw the animals away from a reference. Further develop skills in other art media, such as inks and paints, in which I am less familiar. --Outcomes Produce 1 sketch a week of any animal of my choosing, 2 developed pieces in the semester on large canvases featuring 2 unfamiliar species from the zoo, and a cumulative painting project at the end of the semester. I am also collecting and recording questions that I have about the OSF site, in order to provide feedback for the administrators.
