**Overview** This course will introduce the main concepts of RDM, including the research data life cycle, Tri-Council requirements, as well as supports and services offered at UBC. The course will then introduce learners to a mock project and dataset arranged in a file hierarchy with poorly named folders and files, and go through a hands on exercise to clean the structure and file names following best practices.
