Wiki Version:
## **Study overview** ## --- The goal of this study was to gauge and understand what parts of preregistration templates qualitative researchers would find helpful and informative. For the final template see the [OSF wiki][1]. Preregistration forms already exist for different quantitative study types (e.g. clinicaltrials.gov, osf.io, aspredicted.org). Yet to foster the credibility of qualitative research, different questions should be asked. At this point, there is no consensus on which questions would be most meaningful and relevant. **Research protocol** You can find our registration and research protocol [here][2]. **Examples** You can find some example qualitative preregistrations [here][3]. **Who we are** This study is being organized by researchers who wrote on the topic of qualitative preregistration or pre-analysis plans for qualitative research who are collaborating with the Center for Open Science, a non-profit organization based in Charlottesville, VA, USA whose mission is to increase the openness, integrity, and reproducibility of research. If you know any eligible colleagues who would be interested in participating, please share their name and email address with us. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me, Tamarinde Haven, via t.l.haven@vu.nl. **Research team** Tamarinde Haven, VU University Amsterdam Wieneke Mokkink, Amsterdam University Medical Center Leonie van Grootel, Tilburg University Kristian Kern, University of Essex Florian Gleditsch, University of Essex Rafael PiƱeiro, Catholic University of Uruguay Fernando Rosenblatt, Diego Portales University Alan Jacobs, University of British Columbia Tim Errington, Center for Open Science Brian Nosek, Center for Open Science More information on the study will follow shortly. **Questions?** If you have questions or would like to learn more about participation, reach out to Tamarinde (t.l.haven@vu.nl).
