Wiki Version:
**
Longwood Medical Area Research Data Management Working Group
** The [Longwood Medical Area Research Data Management Working Group][1] (LMA RDMWG) formed in response to identified unmet needs in biomedical and biological research data management. The group endeavors to create solutions, provide guidance, and develop standards and best practices to meet those identified unmet needs and anticipate future needs of our researchers in this area. **Website: [https://datamanagement.hms.harvard.edu][2]** ***Mission: To develop best practices to meet current, and anticipate future, research data management needs of researchers across LMA. We strive to educate the community on data management and solve unique research challenges.*** Our members represent a variety of expertise, including management of high-throughput screening and image data, information technology and research computing, educational programming, and library sciences, which allows us to cover the entire research data lifecycle and all communities on our campus. The [RDMWG has several subgroups intended to work on individual projects][3] and report back to the larger RDMWG, on a monthly basis. Created based on research data management needs identified by RDMWG members, the subgroups allow for multiple projects to be worked on in parallel, and RDMWG to grow its data management presence in the Longwood Medical Area. **
Components
** Learn more about the LMA RDWMG: - [Reports & Presentations][4] Access LMA RDMWG Developed Trainings & Resources: - [Research Management Resources][5] - [Research Management Webinars & Training][6] **
Additional Collections
** Harvard Longwood Medical Area Research Data Management Working Group Zenodo Community: https://zenodo.org/communities/lma-rdmwg [1]: https://datamanagement.hms.harvard.edu/about-rdmwg [2]: https://datamanagement.hms.harvard.edu [3]: https://datamanagement.hms.harvard.edu/about/subgroups-projects [4]: https://osf.io/sfrqe/ [5]: https://osf.io/pw7ed/ [6]: https://osf.io/hwpqe/
