Analytic Plan ------------- If concordance in pornography use partially or fully buffers the negative effects of solitary pornography use on sexual satisfaction, we should find a significant positive interaction between actors' and partners' frequency of pornography use in the context of one or more negative main effects. - *Analysis: Analyzed with an actor-partner approach (e.g., Kenny, Kashy, & Cook,2006) our initial model will involve the prediction of sexual satisfaction using actors' and partners' solitary pornography use and their interaction. In the next step, we will add shared pornography use as a between-dyad factor, to see if the interaction holds while controlling for shared use. Given the previous findings, we do not anticipate gender specific effects, but these will be considered in an exploratory fashion in subsequent steps, using the appropriate interaction terms.* If concordance in pornography use partially or fully buffers the negative effects of solitary pornography use on relationship satisfaction, we should find a significant positive interaction between actors' and partners' frequency of pornography use in the context of one or more negative main effects. - *Analysis: Analyzed with an actor-partner approach (e.g., Kenny, Kashy, & Cook,2006) our initial model will involve the prediction of relationship satisfaction using actors' and partners' solitary pornography use and their interaction.
