Wiki Version:
**Project summary** The aim of this project is to co-produce public health interventions and guidance about protective behaviours (correct use of personal protective equipment [PPE], taking antivirals if recommended) to prevent bird-to-human transmission of avian influenza (AI), and to increase the timely detection of AI in humans (reporting symptoms after exposure). Co-production will follow the Agile Co-production and Evaluation (ACE) framework for developing public health interventions, messaging and guidance. We will use consultations and workshops with people with multiple repeated exposures to AI and sub-contractors and temporary workers. Outputs will include the co-produced interventions and guidance, a final report for UKHSA including recommendations for future studies to evaluate the implementation of co-produced materials, and submission of a peer-reviewed publication.
